Backend Software Engineer

Commuty helps corporate and real estate teams manage shared parking, EV charging, and commuting through clear rules and fair, automated allocation. Our B2B platform is already trusted by big names like the European Commission, AG Insurance, and Engie.

We're now looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our team and help us build the future of smart mobility.

🛠️ What you’ll do

• Build and improve products based on customer feedback
• Develop MVPs for new ideas and custom services for clients
• Implement new features in our core products
• Work with a team of experienced developers on real-world challenges
• Choose the tools that bring the most value — we’re tech-agnostic!

🧰 Our current stack

• Backend: Ruby on Rails, Java (Quarkus)
• Frontend: Angular, Ionic
• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

🙌 What you’ll get

• A salary package in line with your experience and skills
• A real work-life balance — no long nights or weekend sprints
• A voice in product decisions — we want your ideas
• A purpose — we’re solving a real problem, not just chasing revenue
• Flexibility: freelance or employee, it’s your choice
• Hybrid working: 1-2 days on site.

🤔 Who we’re looking for

We care more about attitude and mindset than years of experience in a specific stack. If you’re a smart learner who wants to grow and contribute to meaningful products, we’d love to talk.
