Engineering Manager, Agents

ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead an engineering team building and improving AI agents for customer support within a B2B conversational AI platform. This role combines technical leadership, customer partnership, and hands-on problem solving to deliver reliable systems at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead, mentor, and grow engineers building AI agents for complex customer interactions.
• Work with enterprise customers to understand operational challenges and develop scalable agent solutions.
• Guide deployments from initial implementation through ongoing iteration and optimization.
• Partner with product, design, and research teams to identify shared customer needs and inform platform direction.
• Help set technical strategy and maintain a high bar for quality, ownership, and execution.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience and at least 1 year leading or managing engineers.
• Backend or product engineering experience, including work on customer-facing products or complex distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and production experience with TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
• Ability to investigate failures across complex technology stacks and communicate effectively with enterprise customers.
• Experience with AI systems, LLM applications, agentic workflows, or multimodal models is valuable.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $300,000 to $360,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
