The Posting

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

About the Role

Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential, and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology and careers to the next level.

We are hiring a Senior Corporate Counsel for our Strategic Product Partnerships team. You'll negotiate the deals that shape Snowflake's AI strategy, including partnerships with frontier and open-weight AI model providers, hyperscalers, and leading enterprise software companies. Few legal roles anywhere give you this much exposure to how AI is being built, licensed, and brought to market.

AS A SENIOR CORPORATE COUNSEL AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

Structure, negotiate, and close high-impact AI, cloud, and SaaS partnership agreements, including model access and deployment, zero-copy data integrations, OEM/white-label, and co-sell arrangements.

  • Work with complex deal terms such as revenue share, licensing, fee structures, IP, and data use.
  • Partner directly with Business Development, Product, and Engineering leaders, giving practical advice that keeps deals moving.
  • Own the deal pipeline for the product partnerships portfolio, spotting bottlenecks and clearing them.
  • Build and improve templates, playbooks, and processes that make partnership contracting faster.
  • Work with privacy, security, finance, tax, and compliance teams to manage risk.
  • Track the fast-changing AI and cloud regulatory landscape and raise issues before they reach a deal.
  • Mentor colleagues and help set standards for the team.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR CORPORATE COUNSEL WILL HAVE:

A JD and active California bar membership, or eligibility to register as California Registered In-House Counsel.

  • 7+ years of practice as an attorney in technology transactions, at a law firm, in-house, or both.
  • Hands-on experience negotiating complex technology, SaaS, cloud, or data partnership agreements.
  • Strong working knowledge of IP, data privacy, security, and subprocessor issues in SaaS deals.
  • Sound business judgment, with the ability to weigh risk and land practical, market-aligned positions.
  • Clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders, and comfort running several deals at once under tight timelines.
  • Curiosity about AI tools and how they can improve legal work.

BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

  • Experience with AI partnership structures, such as API access, model deployment, or data use agreements with model providers, hyperscalers, or neoclouds.
  • In-house experience at a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
  • Experience building scalable contracting infrastructure, such as playbooks, templates, or deal desk processes.
  • Big Law training in technology transactions.

WHY JOIN OUR LEGAL TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE?

You'll work on the issues defining the industry right now, at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, and global partnerships. You'll have broad visibility across the business, real ownership of a fast-growing portfolio, and a clear path to more leadership responsibility over time.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
