The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own and grow an application security program while staying hands-on, with room to move into technical leadership as the company scales. • Act as primary incident commander and turn each incident into lasting systemic improvements.
  • Contribute to industry certification efforts and customer-driven security requirements alongside core security work.

What we're looking for

  • 4 to 8 years of experience scaling a security program or architecture at a startup or on new initiatives at a high-growth technology company.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Deep hands-on application security experience, such as secure code review, threat modeling and penetration testing.
  • Experience in fintech or another regulated B2B software environment.
  • Track record of leading a company through formal security audits and certifications.
  • Strong fundamentals in cloud security.
  • Comfort working as a hands-on individual contributor who can grow into technical leadership.
