The Posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Paid Media Lead based in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced, performance-driven Paid Media Lead to take ownership of client acquisition strategies and campaign performance across a portfolio of accounts. This senior, hands-on role combines Meta advertising, client relationship management, direct-response copywriting, creative strategy, and funnel optimization. You will drive measurable results by turning performance data into actionable insights, developing structured testing strategies, and improving lead quality and booked appointments. Working across media buying, messaging, tracking, and automation, you will identify opportunities to strengthen campaign efficiency and client outcomes. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable making strategic decisions in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This is an opportunity to shape campaign strategy, build lasting client partnerships, and directly influence account growth and retention.

Accountabilities

  • Client Strategy and Relationship Management: Own a portfolio of client accounts, act as the primary strategic contact, lead biweekly performance calls, and deliver reports at least 24 hours before scheduled meetings. Translate campaign data into clear recommendations, anticipate account risks, and strengthen client retention, renewals, and referrals.
  • Paid Media Management: Build, launch, and optimize Meta advertising campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking. Manage budgets, audiences, bidding strategies, campaign structures, and creative tests while monitoring cost per appointment and other key acquisition metrics.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Investigate underperforming campaigns, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and campaign variables. Evaluate the full acquisition funnel to improve efficiency and lead quality.
  • Copywriting and Creative Strategy: Write compelling direct-response ad copy and video sales letter (VSL) scripts. Develop creative hooks, messaging angles, offers, and variations for testing, use campaign insights to generate new hypotheses, and collaborate with video editors to deliver effective creative assets.
  • Tracking and Funnel Execution: Set up and troubleshoot Meta pixels, conversion events, and tracking systems. Configure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows while resolving technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems.
  • Cross-Functional Ownership: Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining strategic judgment and quality. Take accountability for campaign outcomes by moving seamlessly between media buying, client communication, creative development, and funnel performance.

Requirements:

  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on paid media experience, including substantial responsibility for Meta advertising campaigns.
  • Client and Account Management: Demonstrated experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, leading strategic client conversations, and delivering against defined performance targets while supporting retention.
  • Direct-Response Copywriting: Strong ability to write persuasive advertising copy and video scripts that drive qualified leads and conversions.
  • Creative Testing and Strategy: Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, offers, messaging angles, and campaign variations using performance data to guide decisions.
  • Analytics and Technical Skills: Familiarity with conversion tracking, Meta pixels, conversion events, and basic marketing automation, including tools and integrations such as Calendly and Zapier.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex performance issues clearly and translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Ownership and Accountability: A proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to independently diagnose problems, make informed decisions, and take action without losing sight of broader business objectives.

Preferred Experience:

  • Marketing for financial services, particularly Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs).
  • Lead-generation and appointment-setting campaigns.
  • Video sales letter (VSL) marketing and direct-response advertising.
  • High-ticket or considered-purchase marketing funnels.
  • Performance marketing agency experience.
  • Familiarity with compliance-sensitive advertising environments.

Additional expectations for candidates seeking the upper compensation range: Candidates considered for compensation of $115,000 or more should demonstrate hands-on expertise in direct-response copywriting, VSL scripts, creative hooks, messaging angles, and conversion-focused funnels. They should be able to show measurable improvements in campaign performance, lead quality, conversion rates, and booked appointments resulting from their creative contributions. Financial services, RIA marketing, and compliance-sensitive advertising experience are strongly preferred.

Benefits:

  • Paid Time Off: Vacation days, sick time, and public holidays.
  • Training and Development: Opportunities to develop professional skills and expand marketing expertise.
  • Remote Work: Work-from-home arrangement.
  • Flexible Schedule: Flexibility in organizing your work schedule.
  • Performance Bonus: Additional compensation linked to performance.
