About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Act as the first dedicated customer success hire, owning the post-sale relationship with business accounts from trial conversion through renewal. The work is hands-on and customer-facing, with a large share of time on calls, and includes relaying customer feedback to product and leadership while shaping a new function from the ground up.

What you'll do

  • Manage a portfolio of business accounts across onboarding, adoption, renewals and expansion.
  • Spend a substantial part of each week on customer calls covering discovery, use case alignment and adoption.
  • Pass along bugs, feature requests and customer feedback to product and company leadership.
  • Lead conversations that convert proof-of-concept trials into paid contracts, working alongside technical colleagues.
  • Match customer business objectives to platform capabilities through creative problem-solving.
  • Help build the customer success function and its processes from scratch.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to get deep into customer details.
  • Based in San Francisco or Atlanta, or willing to relocate to one of them.

Bonus points

  • Experience at a company with both self-serve and enterprise sales motions.
  • Former founders are welcome.
