An industrial equipment and service company is hiring an Industrial Electrician to maintain heavy rolling mill equipment at a steel plant. The drives and controls run on Siemens, so Siemens experience moves you to the front of the line. Direct hire, with benefits and steady long-term work.
What you'll do
- Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC mill stand drives, MCCs, VFDs and transformers
- Keep instrumentation working: encoders, load cells, pyrometers and other sensors
- Support Siemens PLC automation and control systems
- Respond to electrical faults and carry out preventive maintenance
- Work from schematics and wiring diagrams alongside controls and mechanical crews
What you bring
- Industrial electrical maintenance at 480V three-phase and above, including MCCs, motors and drives
- VFD or large drive troubleshooting experience
- NFPA 70E arc flash training and LOTO proficiency
- Steel, aluminum rolling or heavy industrial background strongly preferred
- Openness to rotating shifts, and reliable transportation to a site outside Huntington
Nice to have: Siemens TIA Portal / S7 experience (lead with it), journeyman license (WV or reciprocal).
