IM / Med-Peds Nocturnist Hospitalist
Kenansville, North Carolina
A community hospital in Kenansville, North Carolina is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Med-Peds Physician to join a high-quality Nocturnist Hospitalist program. This role is ideal for physicians interested in night-based inpatient care within a collaborative hospitalist team.

Opportunity Highlights:
- Employment within a physician-led hospitalist program
- Hospital privileges at an 81-bed community hospital
- Established Med-Peds hospitalist team consisting of 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider
- Flexible nocturnist scheduling options:
- Three (3) 14-hour shifts per week, or
- Six (6) 14-hour shifts every other week ,
- Hospitalist service manages a 9-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support
- ICU responsibilities include:
- Ventilator management
- Lumbar punctures
- Central line placement
- Fully integrated electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Broad specialty support, including:
- General Surgery
- Cardiology
- Otolaryngology
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Gastroenterology
- Nephrology
- Ophthalmology
- Sleep Medicine
- Speech Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Average nightly admission volume of approximately 6 patients
