Your New Role

As a permanent, full-time, Park Ranger 2, you will perform and oversee a broad range of tasks to protect, maintain, operate, and repair state park lands, natural and cultural resources, structures, facilities, equipment, and systems. This position supports the South Run, which includes Alfred A. Loeb State Park, Crissey Field, McVay Rock, and Winchuck State Recreation Sites, each with its own needs and opportunities. We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, communicates well, takes initiative, and contributes to a strong, supportive team. The work can be demanding, but it’s meaningful and rewarding, and you’ll see the difference you make for visitors and future generations. We believe good people make good parks. If you value responsibility, teamwork, and protecting special places, we’d love to hear from you.
