Nestled slopeside in the heart of Deer Valley, Stag Lodge offers luxury accommodations, ski-in/ski-out convenience, and genuine mountain hospitality. At the heart of the experience is Café 52, our signature restaurant known for its inviting atmosphere, elevated mountain cuisine, and exceptional guest service.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate Sous Chef who loves creating exceptional dining experiences, bringing creativity to the kitchen, and supporting a talented culinary team. If you thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, have a passion for great food, and enjoy leading and collaborating with a close-knit team, we would love to meet you!

Position Details

• Location: Café 52 at Stag Lodge | Park City, UT
• Pay: $26-34/hr (based on experience)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (November – Early April)
• Schedule: Thursday–Monday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, must also be willing to work holidays
• Start Date: 11/5/2026

What You'll Do

• Help lead daily kitchen preparation and service while ensuring food quality, consistency, and timely execution.
• Help train, mentor, and support kitchen staff while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment
• Help oversee food preparation, presentation, and portion control to maintain high culinary standards.
• Help ensure all food is prepared and served according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Uphold all food safety, health, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.

What You Bring

• Strong professional cooking experience in fine dining, private clubs, or upscale restaurants.
• Two to three years of previous sous chef or kitchen leadership experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of inventory, food cost awareness, food safety, and dietary accommodations.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• A dependable, team-oriented attitude and the ability to stay composed during busy service.
