We are looking for a Market Access Lead Peru responsible for leading the Market Access strategy and execution in Peru, translating Andean portfolio priorities into country-specific access plans across public and private payer ecosystems. This role will drive HTA and reimbursement processes, formulary and guideline inclusion, payer-environment shaping, launch readiness, pricing and Innovative Value Strategies (IVS), while working cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical, HEOR, Pricing, and Commercial teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the end-to-end Market Access plan for Peru, integrating public and private market dynamics.
  • Represent Market Access in the local Core Value Team, providing payer insights, access risks, opportunities, and implementation requirements.
  • Lead Market Access strategy across HTA and reimbursement processes, including payer engagement and follow-up toward relevant decisions.
  • Drive inclusion in applicable national public-market formularies and support incorporation into relevant private-market guidelines, protocols, and institutional access pathways.
  • Map payer stakeholders, funding flows, reimbursement pathways, and barriers, translating insights into actionable access priorities.
  • Lead launch-access readiness in Peru, ensuring access deliverables, stakeholder plans, reimbursement routes, dossiers, and execution plans are prepared for payer decision points.
  • Adapt and implement payer value stories, reimbursement support documents, pathway maps, and other approved access tools for the local market.
  • Develop local product-specific pricing strategies and applicable IVS recommendations in partnership with Pricing & HEOR and through established governance.
  • Partner with HEOR and Medical to identify and address evidence requirements supporting launches and payer decisions.
  • Ensure Market Access activities comply with applicable governance, policies, regulatory requirements, and AstraZeneca standards.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, economics, pharmacy, medicine, business, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in Market Access, HTA, reimbursement, HEOR, Pricing, Medical, or payer-facing roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution with public and/or private payers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of access strategy, reimbursement pathways, payer engagement, and evidence requirements.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Strong digital skills (Teams, Copilot, AZChatGPT, PowerPoint, Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification in health economics, public health, health policy, or business.
  • Experience with Peruvian HTA, reimbursement, public formulary, and private protocol or guideline processes.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical launches and payer evidence plans.
