  • Support monthly and annual accounting closing activities and coordinate with external accounting providers.
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare monthly expense reports, cash movement reports, reconciliations, and supporting financial analyses.
  • Ensure payroll records and supporting documentation remain complete and compliant with local labor regulations.
  • Coordinate payments to suppliers and monitor recurring operational commitments.
  • Support cash flow planning by preparing funding estimates and coordinating operational funding needs with headquarters.
  • Prepare and coordinate financial, accounting, payroll, and compliance information requested by headquarters.
  • Support monthly and annual tax reporting by coordinating information with external accountants and tax advisors.
  • Maintain compliance with local accounting, tax, labor, and corporate regulations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or financial operations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience preparing payroll and administering employee-related payments.
  • Knowledge of local Bolivia tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling financial and employee information.

Bonus Points

  • Experience supporting multinational or SaaS organizations.
  • Experience working with external accounting firms, auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Familiarity with intercompany accounting and multinational financial operations.
  • Experience preparing documentation for financial statements, audits, and regulatory filings.
  • Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and cash management.
  • Experience supporting headquarters or global finance teams.
  • Experience with financial reporting, dashboards, or business analytics.
