We are looking for an experienced Revenue Manager to join our Finance team and take ownership of revenue accounting, recognition, forecasting and reporting across the business.

This hands-on role requires demonstrated experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and will work closely with Finance, Sales, Professional Services and other operational teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting and strong financial controls.

What you’ll do

  • Own the end-to-end revenue recognition and accounting process, ensuring accurate and timely recognition in accordance with IFRS 15 and company policies.
  • Review customer contracts and commercial arrangements to determine the appropriate accounting and revenue recognition treatment.
  • Manage revenue schedules across software licenses, maintenance and support, subscription, SaaS, professional services and other customer arrangements.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end revenue close activities, including revenue recognition journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, deferred/unbilled revenue and work in progress (WIP).
  • Own the revenue recognition process in NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), including revenue arrangements, revenue elements, recognition rules, revenue plans and revenue recognition journal entries.
  • Investigate and resolve NetSuite ARM issues, including missing or incorrect revenue arrangements, recognition dates, revenue plans and postings; reconcile ARM balances and schedules to the general ledger.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate revenue forecasts, working closely with Sales, Professional Services and Finance.
  • Monitor actual revenue against forecast and provide clear analysis of variances, trends and risks.
  • Partner with commercial teams on complex contracts, pricing structures, renewals and contract modifications to assess their revenue impact.
  • Support order-to-cash processes, including alignment between contracts, billing and revenue recognition.
  • Maintain appropriate controls and documentation around revenue accounting and support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Produce revenue reporting, analysis and KPIs for Finance and senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes, reporting, controls and automation, particularly through better use of NetSuite ARM, saved searches and system functionality.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and broader financial planning activities relating to revenue.

What you bring

  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including substantial hands-on responsibility for revenue accounting and recognition.
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical application of IFRS 15 revenue recognition requirements; familiarity with ASC 606 is an advantage.
  • Experience working with software, SaaS, technology or recurring-revenue business models including software licenses, maintenance and professional services.
  • Experience reviewing customer contracts and translating commercial terms into accounting treatment.
  • Strong understanding of deferred revenue, accrued/unbilled revenue, contract modifications and revenue forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience developing and using NetSuite saved searches, financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable partnering with Sales and operational stakeholders while maintaining appropriate financial controls.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple entities, currencies and international teams.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent would be an advantage.

MUST HAVE: Demonstrable, hands-on experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), including revenue arrangements, revenue elements, revenue plans, revenue recognition journal entries and troubleshooting. General NetSuite ERP experience without practical ARM experience is not sufficient.
