The Posting

At UHY Axon Group, we don't just audit numbers- we empower organizations to make smarter decisions, manage risks, and unlock their true growth potential.

As a proud member of UHY, a top-tier global network of audit, advisory, and tax professionals operating in over 100 countries, we combine international reach with deep local expertise. We believe that a great audit team is built on collaboration, integrity, and innovation. If you are looking for a place where your curiosity is rewarded, your growth is championed, and your work has a tangible impact, you’ve found it.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Auditor, you are ready to step up and take real ownership of the audit process. This isn't just about ticking boxes; it’s about driving fieldwork, managing client relationships, and tackling more complex financial puzzles. Working alongside seasoned mentors in our offices, you will play a vital role in ensuring financial integrity while accelerating your own professional growth.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

Your days will be dynamic, analytical, and collaborative. Here is how you will make an impact:

  • Drive the Audit Lifecycle: Take ownership of day-to-day fieldwork, execute external audit engagements from planning to completion, evaluate internal controls, and assess risks.
  • Build Client Partnerships: Communicate directly with clients to gather information, understand their business needs, and deliver exceptional, responsive service.
  • Analyze & Report: Review financial data, draft detailed audit reports, and communicate findings and practical recommendations to clients and senior team members.
  • Drive Excellence & Compliance: Ensure all working papers are accurate, thoroughly documented, and fully compliant with professional standards and accounting regulations.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work seamlessly across service lines, contribute fresh ideas to improve audit processes, and uphold the highest standards of professional ethics.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of solid audit experience, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, Risk Management, or a related field (a relevant Master's is a plus).
  • Qualifications: Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, JES, SOEL) completed or actively in progress.
  • Technical Acumen: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially advanced Excel) and familiarity with modern audit tools.
  • Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.
  • Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, sharp analytical skills, and the capacity to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Personal Attributes: A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, high professional integrity, and the adaptability to thrive in diverse client environments.

Benefits

What’s in It for You

  • Open, fair pay: a salary matched to your experience, discussed openly from the first conversation - and reviewed as you take on more (18.000€ -22.000€ gross/ year).
  • Performance bonus: the chance to earn a performance bonus after your first year.
  • One day a week from home.
  • Time to keep developing: educational leave for studies related to the profession, so you can keep building your qualifications without putting your career on hold.
  • Real mentoring: you'll learn directly from experienced auditors and partners.
  • International exposure: collaboration across UHY's network in 100+ countries, including opportunities for professional exchange programs within the network through Project Hermes.
  • A team you'll actually enjoy: regular social events, not just a desk and a deadline list.
