Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of high-level management portfolios, regulatory submissions (BNM), and external disclosures. A core focus of this role is overseeing the end-to-end validation, reporting, and inter-departmental alignment of the MFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) frameworks for both domestic loans/financings and overseas branches. This role will also champion process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and maintain robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, consistent and timely information submitted to Management (CAQ, MC, CSC, QSBM, Board paper, financial disclosure, industrial / portfolio analysis), BNM, rating agency, internal / external auditors and ad hoc reports.
• Validating MFRS9 ECL provision for BCB Loans / Financings.
• Enhancement in reporting preparation process and workflows.
• Responsible for the MFRS9 matters from intra / inter-department and overseas branches.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the management on the internal operation and control.

Keyholder Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, or Risk Management.
• Practical knowledge of MFRS 9 / IFRS 9
• Strong data skills - proficiency in SQL, SAS, or advanced Excel
• Sharp analytical thinking for portfolio and industrial trend analysis.
