ABOUT FERRY

Ferry is fixing the way people navigate healthcare. Today, patients and medical staff waste countless hours on the phone, struggling through complex insurance policies and outdated scheduling systems. Leading hospitals, insurers, and digital health companies deploy Ferry's AI platform to solve this problem for their patients. We offer an SMS-based concierge service that helps patients find and book the care they need — at no cost to them.

We’re a small, close-knit crew of builders who care deeply about turning frustrating, clunky healthcare navigation into delightful experiences and ultimately, better health outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Take full ownership of challenges and deliverables, with a particular emphasis on managing and improving end-to-end operations to support our growing patient base.
  • Develop and maintain data analyses to identify areas to optimize and monitor performance as we test improvements.
  • Continuously identify and implement AI-powered efficiency gains in collaboration with engineers.
  • Explore, evaluate, and execute on new workflows and opportunities, including strategic partnerships and new products and services.
  • Work directly with founders to make strategic decisions balancing rapid growth with profitability.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a member of the Strategy & Ops team, you'll spearhead high-impact initiatives that span across operational improvement, product development, and sales enablement. You'll use data to inform how to optimize our processes and then collaborate directly with engineering to conceptualize, develop, and implement automation solutions and new capabilities, leveraging the latest advances in AI.

This role demands excellence, offering significant independence and accountability. It's ideal for someone who is humble, growth-oriented, and motivated by meaningful work that drives both business success and accelerated career progression.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience in a role requiring analytical thinking, operational discipline, and outcome ownership (e.g., fast-growing startup, dynamic ops role, consulting, finance).
  • Either experience in or excitement to gain a deep understanding of healthcare and the relationship between payers, providers, and patients.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) that enable you to document systems, influence key stakeholders, and test process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with urgency, identify creative solutions, and go above and beyond to achieve objectives.

While these qualifications represent our ideal candidate, we encourage applications from individuals who don't meet every criteria. We value diverse perspectives and welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds.

BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary and early-stage equity (5-year grant, ISOs, early exercise available).
  • Generous and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) with a 4% match.
  • Unlimited PTO, plus a winter break at the end of year to recharge.
  • Prime office location in Soho, NYC with meals provided every day.
  • Fun team events and off sites.
