Facilities Technician/Engineer (Controls & Instrumentation)
Location: Klang Valley
Working Days: 6 days per week
Project Scope: Data Center/infrastructure projects
Reports to: Project Manager
Role Summary

• Operate and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and environmental sensors (HVAC, UPS, generators).
• Manage, calibrate, and repair sensors, PLCs, and control hardware.
• Respond to alarms and conduct preventive maintenance on critical infrastructure.
• Respond immediately to system alarms or malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement repairs on controls and monitoring equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor BMS, EPMS, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sensors (temperature/humidity), actuators, controllers, and instrumentation for HVAC and electrical systems.
• Support operations for UPS systems, backup generators, chillers, and electrical distribution.
• Conduct signal simulation in various transmitters and instruments, and check readings at the control room.

Required Experience

• 3-4+ years working in data centers, critical facilities, or industrial automation.
• Degree, diploma, or certification in electronics, automation, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, PLCs, and BMS (e.g., Schneider Electric, Siemens).
• Experience with EPMS and electrical systems.
