The Posting

OUR CLIENT is an award-winning international developer and distributor of innovative betting products. The company operates in the international iGaming space and delivers a mix of live and digital gaming experiences for B2B partners worldwide.

About the role

We’re looking for a Head of Engineering to take full ownership of execution and delivery across the engineering organization. This role is directly reporting to the CTO and is critical in scaling engineering function in a real-time, high-availability product environment, turning strategy into predictable, high-quality delivery.
You will lead engineering through Product Owners/Team Leads, ensuring teams operate with strong ownership, clear priorities, and consistent delivery discipline.

Key responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the engineering roadmap, ensuring predictability and transparency;
  • Drive execution across multiple teams in a real-time, high-availability environment;
  • Lead and develop Product Owners/Team Leads;
  • Ensure realistic planning (incl. tech debt, bugs, incidents);
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and remove blockers;
  • Establish and run effective engineering operations (on-call, incident handling, planning discipline);
  • Enforce engineering quality through execution in alignment with architecture standards defined by Architects team;
  • Build a strong accountability culture with clear ownership.

Our expectations

  • Proven track record of running engineering organizations with high delivery predictability;
  • Strong execution mindset — able to turn ambiguity into clear plans and outcomes;
  • Solid technical background (backend systems, APIs, distributed systems);
  • Experience working in high-availability / production-critical environments;
  • Confident working with senior engineers and challenging decisions when needed;
  • Strong people leadership experience (managing managers);
  • Excellent prioritization and decision-making under uncertainty;
  • Ability to align engineering with product and business goals.

Benefits

  • Be part of an international company with a dynamic, fast-paced work environment;
  • Enjoy working in a modern, centrally located office in Vilnius, complete with free parking nearby;
  • Experience a flexible work model with 2 Fridays off and 8 remote workdays per month;
  • Bring your ideas to life and grow professionally in an environment that values trust, not micromanagement;
  • Unlock opportunities for growth with internal and external training;
  • Access comprehensive health insurance after your trial period;
  • Receive a digital shop budget once you’ve completed your trial;
  • Stay active with a sports club membership, available after the trial period;
  • Salary ranges from 7 500 to 10 000 EUR gross per monthly.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
