The Posting

Innovation, technology, universities and football – sound like an exciting combination?

You have probably encountered NXP technology before without even realizing it. Our technology can be found in millions of cars around the world, in electronic passports and ID cards, and in contactless ticketing systems such as London’s Oyster Card. We develop chips and software that help make vehicles safer, cities smarter, and everyday life easier for millions of people.

As a Working Student at NXP, you will be part of projects that bring technology to life. You will support our international marketing team across university programs, student competitions, brand partnerships, and our sports sponsorship with HSV.

You will explore new trends and ideas, help turn them into concepts, and contribute to stories that show how technology can make a real difference in people’s everyday lives.

Your Tasks: The opportunity to work with HSV

  • Contribute to projects that make technology tangible and engaging
  • Gain unique insights into the partnership between NXP and Hamburger SV
  • Help shape the future of the international NXP Cup student competition and support its continued global development
  • Bring in your own ideas and take on responsibility early on

Your Responsibilities:

  • Research trends, best practices, and innovative programs across technology, education, and sports marketing
  • Support the development of ideas for university programs, partnerships, and brand activations
  • Turn research, information, and concepts into compelling presentations and communication materials
  • Contribute to international projects around innovation, technology, and brand experiences

What you bring:

You do not need to tick every box. What matters most is your curiosity and willingness to learn.

  • You are currently enrolled at a university and will remain enrolled for at least another year
  • You are interested in technology, innovation, communications, or branding
  • You enjoy working in a structured way, conducting thorough research, and contributing your own ideas
  • You can communicate your ideas clearly in English
  • You enjoy collaborating with international teams

Bonus points if you are interested in university initiatives, student competitions, or sports sponsorship, or if you have German language skills.

What We Offer:

  • An attractive hourly wage of €19.40
  • 30 vacation days per year
  • Flexible working hours
  • The possibility to work in a hybrid setup
  • Access to an on-site cafeteria
  • Networking initiatives and Employee Resource Groups such as Young Community, No Extra Planet, NXP Equal, Women in NXP, and more — fostering both professional and personal exchange

Please note:

The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
