The Posting

Identify emerging fraud and reduce chargeback losses across IDT and Boss Money products, including Mobile Wallet, Web, and WhatsApp. Use data and AI tools to investigate suspicious activity, evaluate automated decisions, and improve fraud controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate suspicious activity across accounts, payment cards, devices, and recipients; identify linked behavior and patterns that individual transaction reviews may miss.
  • Identify unusual transaction patterns, emerging fraud trends, and opportunities to detect suspicious activity earlier.
  • Analyze fraud and chargeback activity across accounts, payment cards, devices, recipients, issuing banks, countries, and customer segments.
  • Recommend new alerts, early-warning indicators, and monitoring reports that enable faster detection and response.
  • Review fraud cases to understand what was missed and recommend improvements to existing controls.
  • Work with fraud operations, rules, AI, and technology teams to implement and measure improvements.
  • Identify potential fraud risks as Mobile Wallet, Web, and WhatsApp continue to grow.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear, actionable manner.

Education Certification and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in fraud analysis, payment risk, or related investigations, including hands-on analysis of transaction data, is a plus.

Required skills:

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with a natural curiosity for identifying patterns and understanding why things happen.
  • Ability to turn observations and data into practical recommendations.
  • Comfortable using Excel, dashboards, and reports to analyze trends.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to document investigations, explain decisions, and collaborate with technical and operational teams.
  • Familiarity with SQL, AI tools, or fraud detection systems is helpful but not required.
