Who are we?

We are the leading online platform for comparing and buying business insurance.

Not to toot our own horn, but we’re shaking things up in the SME business insurance market! We’re all about making it easy and efficient for small businesses to get the perfect coverage they need to stay protected. Say goodbye to headaches and hello to hassle-free insurance!

About The Team:

BizAnalytics is a trusted internal brand, and a trusted team.

We span the whole value chain, and a complete set of data skills, and drive value through insights, driving change, enabling better management decisions, and automating decisions with AI (and Machine Learning) live into our business.

The team spans all aspects of data from self-serve analytical datasets and reports, to management insights, and automated insights via Machine Learning and live AI integrations.

As a Senior Insights Analyst you will lead the evolution of how BizCover uses data to drive outcomes.

This will involve working across all parts of the business and will give you great exposure to the whole value chain and the potential to drive growth, value, and efficiency.

  • Working with our team to create or generate the right visuals, workflows, and data for the right decisions and processes.
  • Designing high value analytical outcomes that are scalable and automatable, collaborating with the team to integrate recurring analysis into workflows and agents rather than manual analysis.
  • Collaborating on initiatives which span our business, with everyone from Marketing, Customer Operations, Product, Digital, Tech, pretty much the whole company!
  • Support benefits tracking, post-implementation reviews, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

You are:

  • A proactive problem solver with strong commercial acumen and curiosity, and the ability to distil complex information into actionable insights.

  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • 2-5 years’ experience working in analytics, strategy, consulting or corporate development.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, market analysis, and performance reporting.

  • Experience communicating data insights and supporting actions to senior management.
  • Strong business writing skills and communicating skills.
  • Hands on SQL experience.
  • Experience with some kind of data visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or are a whizz with Excel
