Veterinary Associate - Greencross Capalaba

You know what you need to do good work: enough time with patients, a team that backs each other, and systems that don’t make the day harder than it needs to be.

Greencross Capalaba is a GP clinic on Brisbane’s bayside, located next to Petbarn (easy parking, simple to get to). The space is modern and practical: four consult rooms, a dedicated surgical theatre, and a large treatment area.

The two things most vets comment on first are:

• Consult length: we run 20-minute standard consults, with longer bookings for sick or complex cases.
• Admin load: we use an AI note-taking tool to cut down typing and help you stay focused during consults.

If you’d like to get a feel for the clinic and the team, our Vet Director Cidy recorded a short video.

What the role looks like

• General practice consults and routine surgery
• Case management with support around you
• Clear communication with clients and follow-through
• Some sole charge may be required at times (depending on the roster)

What we can offer

• Full-time or part-time hours
• Competitive salary and benefits based on experience
• Four weeks annual leave + one week study leave
• CE and CPD support (including Greencross annual conference)
• Free AVA or VIN memberships
• Discounts across Greencross and Petbarn
• 24/7 confidential counselling support via Telus
• Visa sponsorship for eligible overseas candidates

About you

• Eligible for full veterinary registration in Australia
• Comfortable with GP workflows, routine procedures, and everyday case management
• Organised, practical, and steady with clients and colleagues
