About the Role

Hello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers to support students in Arvada, CO. In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed. You'll work with a collaborative school district and a supportive, therapist-owned team dedicated to helping both students and educators thrive.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
• Incorporate technology and educational resources to enhance learning

What We're Looking For

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
