Provide assistance to crew and supervisors / management with duties in the field and shop.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and execute operation of wireline unit (tools, logistics, crews, PCE, etc.)
• Demonstrate professional attitude and provide customer with operational expertise
• Calculate hydrostatic pressures and hole volumes and understand the hydrate formation envelope
• Understand the operations and principles of basic mechanical and hydraulic components
• Understand pressure control equipment and theory
• Complete field invoicing and third party cost recovery
• Initiates self-improvement through soft skills training (LMS)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Critical thinking ability
• Demonstrate leadership
• Able to work on a 24 hour on call basis

Education and Experience

• 18 years of age
• Class 5 drivers license (minimum)
• Have or acquire a class 3 license with Q endorsement considered an asset.
• Mentor Level 1, 2 and 3 Operators with tool knowledge, truck maintenance and shop equipment maintenance
• Maintain required safety, operational and regulatory documentation as required
• Leadership role in the shop (shop maintenance, shop equipment maintenance, yard maintenance, housekeeping, security, supervising operators, restocking of units with tools and supplies)
• Successful completion of the pre-hire testing (physical / hearing test / drug screen/background check)
