  • Administer the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Liaise with directors and managers to shortlist and select candidates
  • Arrange and conduct interviews alongside the relevant manager or director
  • Manage visa applications and support international skilled staff with relocation
  • Develop induction programmes for effective candidate onboarding

HR Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Develop, implement and review HR policies and procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes
  • Lead performance management and appraisal processes
  • Provide proactive and reactive HR guidance and coaching to managers across the business
  • Support employee relations activity, including liaison with recognised trade unions where applicable
  • Promote best practice and ensure compliance with employment legislation

General HR

  • Provide cover for the HR Manager/Director during periods of absence
  • Support employee wellbeing, engagement and internal communications initiatives
  • Work closely with Payroll, Training, Occupational Health and other internal stakeholders
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects that support business growth and continuous improvement
  • Undertake occasional international travel to support HR operations at other company locations
  • Produce and submit monthly Group HR KPI reports

What We're looking for: Essential

  • Proven experience in HR, including direct recruitment activity, ideally with some decision-making responsibility
  • Strong experience recruiting for executive, senior managerial, technical and specialist positions
  • Highly capable with recruitment systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, headhunting tools and social media for recruitment
  • Excellent interviewing, assessment and candidate selection skills
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary and absence management
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 5 (or willingness to study)
  • Experience with UK Visa application system
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications

What we offer:

  • Competitive remuneration package including work-based pension
  • Training support for CIPD qualification
  • Continued training, professional development and opportunities for career progression
  • The opportunity to shape and lead recruitment strategy across a global organisation
  • The chance to work alongside, and learn from, industry-leading professionals committed to excellence
