Virginia Green is growing—and we’re looking for driven, outdoor-loving individuals to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians (Service Leaders). Day in the Life:

• Work individually or with a crew to provide services to all properties on assigned route
• Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, fungicides, herbicides, and aeration and seeding for pest and week control in lawns
• Diagnose lawn issues and recommend solutions
• Build relationships with customers and identify service needs
• Sell additional services to existing and prospective customers
• Keep properties clean, safe, and looking their best
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment
• Assist with training new service leaders

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record with 1+ years of driving experience
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must obtain applicable state Department of Agriculture certification within 30 days of hire
• Be able to drive long distances or an eight to nine-hour shift in company vehicle (truck/trailer) ranging between 6:30am-5:30pm (or until the job is finished)
• Operate company vehicle in compliance with federal, state, local laws, and company policy
• Follow proper safety protocols while working with equipment
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 50 pounds
