The Posting
The Software Development Lead manages the development team and ensures technical projects are delivered on time and to a high standard using Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development team, set priorities, and track progress against delivery goals.
- Design technical architectures and guide the team on key technologies and design decisions.
- Run project execution using Agile and Scrum frameworks, including planning and managing sprints.
- Uphold code quality and ensure adherence to software development standards and best practices.
- Resolve complex technical issues and remove obstacles that affect team delivery.
- Mentor and coach team members to build their technical and professional skills.
- Ensure the delivery of stable, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
- Work with Project Managers and stakeholders to define requirements for technical solutions.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience designing complex software architectures
- Strong command of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Solid background in code quality practices and software testing
- Proven leadership and effective communication skills
- Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical problems
