Senior Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage B2B compliance software team as a Senior Founding Product Engineer, owning the product and infrastructure stack end to end. You will turn roadmap priorities into useful features and work directly with customers to shape an AI-enabled platform for regulatory and product compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the software and infrastructure stack across frontend, backend, and cloud deployment.
• Translate product priorities into shipped features that deliver measurable user value.
• Talk with customers to understand their needs and inform product direction.
• Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as the product and team grow.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 3 years of full-time software engineering experience, with a record of shipping products to real users.
• Strong product judgment, a user-focused approach, and the ability to develop solutions that work across customer needs.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience in an early-stage startup and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• An AI-native approach, including regular use of AI agents and tools in your workflow.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, legal technology, regulatory technology, or AI and machine learning is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: €80,000 to €90,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Hybrid, with on-site work in Munich, Germany, 4 days per week.
