ABOUT CLARK

Clark builds AI that does audit fieldwork. 30 CPA firms use it today. We’re hiring auditors to help those firms get it running on real engagements, and to tell our engineers what needs to change.

If you’ve been in public accounting for a few years and you’re wondering what’s next, this is worth a look. You’d still work with audit teams every day, and your technical knowledge would matter as much as it does now. The difference is that you’d also work closely with our engineers and product team, and the fixes you push for end up in a product dozens of firms rely on. It’s a good way to learn how software gets built without walking away from the expertise you’ve spent years developing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an auditor who likes teaching. You’d run Clark’s education program: webinars, a podcast, courses and written guides for accountants and auditors. The topics are audit and accounting:standards, fieldwork, and how AI is changing the job.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Host webinars, including CPE sessions
  • Host a podcast with auditors, firm leaders and others in the profession
  • Write articles, guides and checklists
  • Build courses and onboarding material for firms using Clark
  • Turn new standards and regulatory updates into practical lessons
  • Bring what you hear from firms back to our product and marketing teams
  • Speak at conferences and state CPA society events

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • CPA (active or inactive)
  • 4+ years in public accounting, ideally in audit
  • You can explain technical topics clearly, live and in writing
  • You’re comfortable on camera and on mic
  • You can run a content calendar without someone managing it

NICE TO HAVES

  • You’ve taught CPE, trained staff at a firm, or taught at a university
  • You already have an audience: a podcast, newsletter or LinkedIn following
  • Experience with NASBA CPE sponsor rules
  • Some video or audio editing

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • 5 days a week on-site in NYC — no remote or hybrid
  • Startup hours and pace — this isn't a 9-to-5
  • Flat structure, no hierarchy — everyone ships
  • High ownership — you own outcomes, not just tasks
