DevOps Engineer (REF5793N)

The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.

You'll be part of a team managing the operations of a BSS system in a cloud environment. You take care of installations, managing upgrades of Middleware and monitoring the business use cases of the system based on log files. On call duties and maintenance during night hours are not an issue for you.

Skills:

• 3-4+ years of DevOps experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience in operating, maintaining and supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure.
• A good knowledgebase in Linux, Java and Oracle database in enterprise environments.
• Experienced with virtualization of platforms (VMWare, Kubernetes) as well as Gitlab / Github and GitOps workflows.
• Familiar with agile tools like Git, Ansible, Jira, Confluence and Jenkins
• Good English skills written and verbal.

• Understanding of how to implement DevOps principles.

• Structured way of work organization
• Communicative and customer service oriented towards our internal organization.

Nice to have:

• Experienced in using different programming languages
• Knowledge around the ITIL process, esp. incident- problem- and change processes
• Certifications in software engineering or unix based operating systems
