Major Responsibilities:

• To ensure that all kitchen equipment and building are effectively cleaned as specified by the cleaning schedules.
• To ensure that airline equipment is cleaned and stored in a timely manner.
• To clean, rinse and sanitize utensils and equipment and ensure proper dishwashing methods.
• To ensure that manual cleaning is done according to specified standards.
• To clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces.
• To ensure that chemicals are appropriately handled.
• To adhere to all safety standards.
• To perform any other related duties as directed

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the janitorial service. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.
• Knowledge of the proper use of chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions.

Physical Demands:

The job duties require an employee to bend, reach, stoop, stand and/or walk for extended periods.
