Role: Workshop Technician

Location: Specialized Ireland, Dublin
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

As a Workshop Technician, you’ll be an important part of our store team — supporting riders, solving technical challenges, and ensuring every bike leaves our workshop performing at its best. You don’t need to know everything on day one; if you bring motivation, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, we’ll help you grow your expertise.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to riders in store, online, and by phone
  • Build, safety‑check, and prepare bikes for display or collection
  • Diagnose and repair bikes with care and accuracy
  • Manage warranty processes, deliveries, and stock transfers
  • Maintain workshop organisation, cleanliness, and safety
  • Support stock checks and record‑keeping
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful team environment
  • Collaborate with the wider store team as needed

What You’ll Bring

We know great talent comes in many forms. If you don’t meet every point, we still encourage you to apply.

  • Technical understanding of bikes or enthusiasm to develop these skills
  • Strong problem‑solving approach
  • Curiosity for new products, tools, and technology
  • A helpful, empathetic approach to supporting riders
  • Clear communication and good attention to detail
  • Confidence using digital tools and IT systems
  • A positive, proactive team‑focused mindset

Reporting to: Workshop Manager

We want you to thrive — professionally and personally. Our benefits include:

  • Bike Loan Scheme
  • Generous Bike & Apparel Purchase Policy
  • Discounts on top sports brands
  • Employee Assistance Programme (including support for immediate family)
  • Enhanced Annual Leave & Absence Policies
  • Annual Merit Review
  • Company events and team activities

Ready to Join the Journey?

If you’re excited about shaping memorable rider experiences and building your career in a supportive, inclusive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
