about the position…

We're cooking up something exciting at Power Design! We're launching a brand-new food truck at our Palmetto location, and we're looking for an experienced, bilingual Line Cook to help bring it to life!

This isn't your typical food truck! You'll be part of a fun, fast-paced operation serving fresh, delicious meals while creating an awesome dining experience for our team members. From preparing great food to delivering exceptional customer service, you'll play a key role in making our newest food truck a success. If you're passionate about cooking, love working with people, and are fluent in both English and Spanish, we'd love to meet you!

position details/responsibilities…

• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality menu items while maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Take customer orders, process transactions, and serve food and beverages while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members in both English and Spanish.
• Thrive in a fast-paced food truck environment while maintaining efficiency, quality, and a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while following all food handling, storage, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, communicate restocking needs, and assist with food preparation and daily opening and closing duties.
• Support Power Design events, catering functions, and other food service needs as needed.
• Help create a welcoming, team-oriented environment as we launch and grow our newest food truck operation.

here's what we're looking for…

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment.
• Experience in a food truck, café, quick-service restaurant, or high-volume food operation is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and deliver quality food during busy service periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
• A dependable, self-motivated team player who's excited to help build something new.
