About the role

As the ETQ QMS System Administrator, you’ll own the administration, configuration, and day-to-day support of our ETQ Reliance Quality Management System (QMS). You’ll be the go-to resource for end users across the business, troubleshooting and resolving incidents, configuring workflows to match evolving quality and business needs, and keeping the platform stable, reliable, and aligned with how our teams actually work.

Working closely with Quality, IT, and business stakeholders, you’ll gather and analyze requirements, translate them into system configurations, and rigorously prepare, execute, and validate tests before changes reach production, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm every release meets business needs. You’ll support continuous improvement initiatives that help the platform scale alongside VulcanForms’ growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary functional analyst and administrator for the ETQ Reliance QMS platform, providing application support and guidance to end users across the business.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to ETQ Reliance QMS, identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions.
  • Administer and configure the ETQ Reliance platform to keep it stable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
  • Design and configure workflows that translate business processes into effective system solutions.
  • Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Develop test plans and scripts, then prepare, execute, and validate testing to confirm changes meet business and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gathering stakeholder feedback and driving issues to resolution.
  • Evaluate platform usage and performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend enhancements.
  • Monitor application stability and data integrity, ensuring ongoing alignment with evolving business requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience administering ETQ Reliance, or a comparable enterprise QMS, including platform configuration and workflow design, ideally within a manufacturing or regulated industry.
  • Prior experience with QMS system implementation, such as leading or supporting a platform rollout from design through go-live.
  • Experience in functional and/or corporate application support, including troubleshooting and resolving end-user incidents.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into system configurations.
  • Experience preparing, executing, and validating tests, including coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Familiarity with quality processes and standards such as CAPA, document control, audits, change management, ISO 9001, and AS9100.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with proficiency in Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
