Job Description

Assignment type: Internship

Start date: February 2026

Assignment duration: 6 months

Location: Veghel

Education level: Bachelor / Master

Desired study: Business IT & management, software engineering, data science & artificial intelligence, business innovation

Description of assignment

At Vanderlande, we are accelerating the way our global workforce operates by embedding AI initiatives into daily workflows. Today, many employees and citizen developers across teams are actively experimenting with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, SharePoint agents, and Copilot Studio. However, these innovative AI skills and prompt patterns are not yet structured or shared consistently, making it difficult for teams to reuse proven solutions and scale AI adoption effectively.

In this forward-thinking internship, you will help design, build, and structure Vanderlande's first reusable AI skill catalogue. You will explore employee needs, establish clear criteria for categorizing and sharing AI tools, and develop a first series of practical, reusable skills ranging from Office productivity tools to advanced low-code building blocks. Your research will provide a scalable framework that enables colleagues to adopt AI safely, practically, and efficiently.

Department description

You will join the Digital Acceleration team, a global unit within ICT Support at Vanderlande. Our mission is to drive digital capability and end-user productivity through technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Power BI, and low-code solutions.

Working closely with digital acceleration specialists, citizen developers, and business stakeholders, you will operate in a collaborative environment combining user research, hands-on prototyping, documentation, and tech adoption support.

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Research user needs for reusable AI skills across various business departments and citizen developer workflows
  • Define a clear framework for the Vanderlande skill catalogue, including taxonomy, governance, quality standards, and user guidance
  • Develop and document an initial set of reusable AI skills for productivity, automated knowledge retrieval, and process optimization
  • Conduct user testing sessions with employees and refine skills based on feedback
  • Deliver a final advisory report outlining roadmap recommendations for catalogue maintenance, governance, and organization-wide adoption

Your profile

  • Strong interest in AI applications, low-code platforms, digital transformation, and modern productivity tools
  • Ability to translate user requirements into practical, well-documented digital concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, or prompt engineering is preferred
  • Analytical, proactive, and comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong social skills and enthusiasm for collaborating in an international environment
  • *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands
