As Assistant Store Manager (2IC) - Papamoa, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to create a high-performing, customer-focused store environment!

• Strong Retail Experience - Leadership Experince an advantage
• Support your Store Manager in leading our passionate team of 10 Sales Assistants
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the wider team
• A proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve results.
• A passion for coaching and developing others
• The ability to prioritise effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities, ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Ability to drive safe Work, Health & Safety practices
• Established business acumen
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the wider team

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Store Manager to drive sales, team performance and operational excellence.
• Leading by example to deliver outstanding customer service every day.
• Coaching and developing team members to build capability and confidence.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive and safety-focused team culture.
• Supporting stock management, inventory accuracy and visual merchandising standards.
• Assist training of new team members.
• Sharing your product knowledge to help customers find the best solutions for their pets.
