The Posting
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own short-form video content from idea through publishing, setting the creative direction and tying social channels to measurable audience growth. Also build and manage a program of outside creators and report regularly on how creative assets perform.
What you'll do
- Set creative direction for short-form video channels by spotting strong formats and hooks and writing clear briefs.
- Shoot, edit and publish short-form videos, and produce polished longer videos for live events.
- Partner with senior leadership and a part-time growth lead to improve upper and mid-funnel creative and lower the cost of acquiring each new user.
- Grow a small existing social account into a steady acquisition channel, taking over work currently handled by an outside agency.
- Build and run a creator and user-generated content program, including sourcing, personas, tiers, briefs, scripts, agreements, payments and feedback.
- Lead the creator community through challenges, incentives and feedback cycles, supporting top performers and cutting what underperforms.
- Track creative performance such as CPM, CTR, views, sign-ups and acquisition cost by channel, and share a clear weekly report.
- Use AI-assisted workflows to speed up production and focus on what works.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Around two years of hands-on work producing short videos for social platforms.
- A history of building a following from nothing on your own, with a strong audience response, rather than inheriting an established account.
- Evidence that your social work has driven concrete conversions, beyond view counts.
- Experience owning content strategy and comparing results across formats and creative variations.
- Ability to shoot and edit your own video in common editing tools.
- Comfort owning the full creative cycle in a fast-paced, in-person environment.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week in New York City.
Bonus points
- Background working closely with underserved communities, for example in education, social services, volunteering or the public sector.
- Experience as a founder or early team member at a startup.
- Higher-end video production experience.
