POSITION SUMMARY

Solenis is seeking a Business Development Manager with deep tissue and/or towel manufacturing expertise. The ideal candidate understands how tissue products are made, how tissue machines run, and can serve as a trusted advisor to customers on production, operations, and process improvements while driving business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities within the tissue market.
• Build relationships with plant leaders, operations teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Advise customers on tissue/towel production, machine performance, process optimization, and operational challenges.
• Support mill startups, capital projects, and major manufacturing initiatives.
• Partner with Technical Service, R&D, and commercial teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Lead and develop a team of 3-5 employees.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant experience in tissue and/or towel manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of tissue production processes, machine operations, and mill environments.
• Ability to engage customers as a subject matter expert on making tissue products and improving manufacturing performance.
• Proven success growing customer relationships and developing new business.
• Experience supporting plant troubleshooting, startups, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Prior leadership or people management experience preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $135,130.00 and $198,187.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
