Role Purpose

The Director, Business Architecture & Transformation will support the business architecture vision and transformation roadmap for Operations that underpins LSEG's long-term growth ambitions.

The vision is to create a safe, secure and automated data production and service environment that is driven by straight through processes. These high quality, scalable operating models will significantly improve efficiency, quality, resilience, scale and speed to market.

Working across Operations, Engineering and business teams, the role will help develop a multi-year modernisation programme, encompassing database infrastructure, operations tooling, process/workflows and quality management capabilities.

The role sits at the intersection of Operations, Engineering and the business and acts as the strategic bridge between business strategy and daily operational execution.

Key Success Measures

  • Delivering a E2E future process architecture and roadmap for ~30 content sets
  • Implementation Success measures include
  • Percentage increase in Straight Through Processing
  • Percentage increase in Productivity (data volumes/FTE) and throughput
  • Increased process volume insensitivity (no backlogs/timeliness issues through peaks, low marginal staff costs to data coverage increases)
  • Reduction in exception volumes and false positives
  • Improved service levels and customer outcomes (Data Corrected cases, Red, Days, Customer facing metrics and Customer Service Scores)
  • Capacity generated to support business growth

Experience

  • Experience working in large-scale operations, data and technology functions ideally within financial markets or information services industries.
  • Understanding of operational excellence, process engineering and automation methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, process mapping, analysis and measurement)
  • Experience modernising large-scale data platforms and operational ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies and how they can be brought together to deliver E2E process excellence. This would include databases, workflow tooling, quality tooling, automation and AI
