Branch Manager -Al Yarmouk Iraq Branch

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all branch activities, including operations, sales, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve the branch’s financial and operational targets.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor branch performance indicators and prepare periodic performance reports.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure accuracy in cash management, transaction processing, and record-keeping.
• Promote cross-selling of banking products and services to achieve sales targets.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Country Manager and other departments to implement business initiatives.
• Apply internal controls to safeguard the bank’s assets and mitigate risks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Law, Public Administration, Financial Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and Banking Sciences, Statistics, Banking Management, Investment and Resource Management, Financial and Accounting Control, or any related Field

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in banking, financial.

Professional certification in Banking Management (CBM) is preferred.

Specialized training in leadership, risk management, and compliance is considered an added advantage.
