The Sales Integration Specialist builds new customer relationships, protects existing ones, and maintains revenue during the transition period of newly acquired businesses. In this role, the incumbent works in close collaboration with Store Managers, Account Development Specialists, Sales Directors, and regional leadership to identify accounts at risk, ensure continuity of customer service, resolve transition-related issues, and meet or exceed sales forecasts established in the acquisition business plan. This is a front-line role (direct customer contact) responsible for the retention and profitable sales performance within the assigned portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify strategic, high-revenue, or at-risk customer accounts before and after the acquisition closing.
  • Develop and execute customer retention plans for assigned stores, territories, and customer segments.
  • Visit and solicit installers, wholesalers, and other customers to maintain relationships and promote applicable NAPA/UAP parts, programs, and services.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers, Account Development Specialists, Sales Directors, and District Management to ensure post-integration customer service continuity.
  • Closely track sales activities, ordering patterns, attrition, service issues, and overall performance against business plan forecasts during the months following the transaction date.
  • Ensure corrective actions are taken based on customer trends.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing acquired customers and support actions to exceed business plan sales targets.
  • Participate in joint customer visits with sales management and other sales team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, account management, customer retention, or customer service.
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket, distribution, wholesale, or installer market.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and prioritize accounts based on revenue, strategic importance, and retention risk.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned market (25%).
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required, as you will need to collaborate fluently with internal clients across Canada.
