What You’ll Do

  • Collect and enter employee hours, checking time records for missing information, incorrect coding, and other discrepancies.
  • Work with field supervisors to confirm attendance, resolve timecard issues, and meet payroll deadlines.
  • Track workforce activity and prepare daily and weekly reports covering employee hours, staffing levels, and labor costs.
  • Keep employee, equipment, and project records accurate and easy to access.
  • Help new employees get ready for their assignments by gathering onboarding documents and coordinating orientation details.
  • Serve as a point of contact for questions about time submissions, payroll status, and onboarding, directing issues to the appropriate team when needed.
  • Support project leaders with scheduling, document management, data entry, and office supply tracking.
  • Step in to assist with other field office responsibilities as project needs change.
  • Handle employee information with discretion and follow established site safety procedures.

What You’ll Bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or administration is a plus.
  • Confidence using Excel, Outlook, and Word to organize information, communicate, and prepare reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot and resolve inconsistencies.
  • The ability to stay organized while handling interruptions and competing deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communication with field crews, supervisors, and office staff.
  • A dependable work style, sound judgment, and respect for confidential information.

Experience That Stands Out

  • Supporting construction crews, industrial projects, or other field-based teams.
  • Working with timekeeping or payroll platforms such as mJob, HCSS, Viewpoint, or SAP.
  • Preparing manpower reports, tracking labor costs, or coordinating new-hire paperwork.
