You will work closely with operational departments, MND and communications teams on policy implementation and announcements, with opportunities to rotate into customer-facing roles involving case management, stakeholder engagement and appeals handling.

[What you will be working on]

As an Estate Manager in the Policy Development Section (PDS) of Market & Policy Department (MPD), you will develop new policies and review existing policies governing the sale and purchase of public housing as well as allocation of new flats to meet the changing needs of our population, while advancing national social objectives e.g. supporting marriage and parenthood, supporting the housing needs of sandwiched groups, encouraging familial care, facilitating housing monetisation and ensuring a home-for-life.

In addition to working closely with the operational departments and Ministry to achieve a smooth implementation, you will work with MND’s Strategic Communications & Engagement Division (SCED) and HDB’s Strategic Communications & Engagement Group (SCEG) on communications plans for policy announcements.

During your employment, you may be rotated to take on the role of a Customer Relations Manager, to deliver quality services to applicants and residents of HDB flats and facilitate home ownership.
