The Posting
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the chief executive, owning high-priority initiatives that span several business lines. Help shape and launch new growth efforts, establish company-wide management routines, and work alongside senior leaders to clear obstacles. The position offers a route toward eventually running a business unit.
What you'll do
- Take charge of critical initiatives that cross departments, finding bottlenecks and resolving unclear problems through to delivery.
- Advise the chief executive on emerging growth opportunities, including helping get new lines of business off the ground.
- Build and scale management routines such as performance reviews, analytics updates and investor-facing reporting.
- Partner with business unit leaders to identify patterns, remove obstacles and speed up progress.
- Travel roughly 10-30% of the time for company visits and important meetings with executive leadership.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 6-10 years of experience combining a rigorous early-career foundation, such as top-tier consulting, banking or private equity, with operating experience at a high-growth startup.
- A record of fast advancement and strong ownership, rather than a coordination or project management profile.
- A self-directed working style and comfort operating with limited guidance.
- Executive presence to work credibly with senior stakeholders and challenge them when needed.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to work with data and reach decisions independently.
- A hands-on AI mindset: actively builds tools, automations and workflows with AI rather than only writing prompts.
- Interest in eventually leading a business unit or starting a new one.
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, working on-site five days a week.
Bonus points
- Previous founding experience, even if unsuccessful.
- Early promotions and growing scope within a single company.
- MBA from a top-tier program.
