Mechanical Technician

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for Building, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and testing mechanical equipment and systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
• Work closely with engineers & technician teams, on different system engineering projects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical manuals to build and Installation, align, and commission new mechanical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures and replace defective components and ensure proper machine functioning.
• Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
• Maintain the requirements of consumables and Co-ordinate with inventory team and ensure the availability of the materials.

Skills and Experience:

• ITI with minimum 4-6 years of experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Grinding, cutting, drilling and assembly of mechanical components.
• Basic understanding of work safety and using PPE’s is essential skill.
• Basic knowledge of MS-office and outlook.
• Welding skills add advantages.
