Important Details:

Sign on bonus is paid out in three installments on the next payroll following 30 days of employment, 6 months and 12 months and are subject to applicable taxes.
Full time status at BID Needham is considered for schedules greater than or equal to 30 hours per week; Positions which are 30 hours of less are pro-rated. Please note, per diem roles are excluded. .
Current and Former BILH candidates - restrictions apply. BID Needham Internal employees or employees within the BILH system are not eligible for the bonus or if you have been employed by a BILH entity within the last 12 months.

Job Description:

Critical Care/ICU Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

• Shift: 36 Hours, Rotating(Full-Time)
• Location: Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Needham
• Compensation: $105,300 – $171,900/year + $10,000 Sign-On Bonus eligible!

Make an Impact in Critical Care

Join a collaborative, patient-centered ICU team where your clinical expertise directly impacts patient outcomes. Partnering closely with intensivists, surgeons, hospitalists, and nurses, you will practice at the top of your license in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Patient Care: Complete histories/physical exams, assess patient progress, and coordinate treatment plans with intensivists.
• Procedures: Perform central lines, arterial lines, NG/enteral tubes, bladder catheterization, phlebotomy/IVs, and EKGs.
• ICU Management: Enter admissions/orders, lead or join daily rounds, and document in the EMR.
• Coordination & Support: Handle discharge planning, referrals, and provide compassionate support to patients and families.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree + completion of an accredited 2-year PA or NP program.
• Licensure: Current MA Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience: 0–1 years required (ICU experience preferred).

Pay Range: $105,300.00 USD - $171,900.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
