Welder/Fabricator

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and fabrication work to required specifications
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately
• Operate and assist on processing equipment including plasma, saws, and drilling lines
• Support material handling and movement across the processing area
• Carry out quality checks on finished components
• Assist with general production activities as required
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Work closely with supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder and/or fabricator
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings
• MIG welding experience essential
• Experience working in a steel processing or manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work across both fabrication and machine operation
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good teamwork and communication skills

Experience with plasma cutting, drilling lines or automated processing equipment is an advantage but not essential.
