We're looking for someone who understands the new build sales process, has experience building strong relationships with developers, and is confident representing the business at new build launches and events on a regular basis.

  • Assess client needs and recommend suitable mortgage solutions.
  • Manage cases from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Act as a specialist adviser for new build property purchases.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with housebuilders and developers.
  • Attend new build launches, marketing suites and events, including regular weekend appointments.
  • Ensure all business is completed in line with FCA regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate client records and case documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Deliver against agreed business development and performance targets.

About You

  • CeMAP or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Previous experience advising on new build mortgages and working closely with developers.
  • A strong understanding of the new build customer journey, developer requirements and associated lending considerations.
  • Experience attending property launches, marketing suites and developer events.
  • A strong understanding of FCA regulations, including Consumer Duty principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
  • A professional, organised and customer-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work weekends to support developer launches and customer demand.

What do we offer in return?

A career that you define. At Howden, we value diversity – there is no one Howden type. Instead, we’re looking for individuals who share the same values as us:

  • We are determined to make a positive difference at work and beyond
