Volunteering at Belong

At Belong, we believe in creating communities where everyone feels valued, connected, and cared for. Our volunteers play a vital role in bringing this vision to life — whether you're planting joy as a Gardener, driving connection as a Driver, sparking creativity as an Activities Volunteer, offering companionship as a Volunteer Companion, or serving with heart as a Hospitality Volunteer.

Each role is rooted in our values:

• Stronger Together – building community through shared purpose
• Respect for All – honouring every individual’s story
• Care from the Heart – offering kindness in every interaction
• Be Your Best – growing through giving
• Better Tomorrow – making a lasting impact today

Whether you're looking to share your skills or learn something new, there’s a place for you at Belong Macclesfield. And as our volunteer programme grows, so will the opportunities — so if you have an idea or passion you'd love to bring to life, we’d love to hear from you!

To find out the next steps please contact us at volunteers@belong.org.uk or visit www.belong.org.uk

Together, we can create moments that matter.

Requirements

Keeping Everyone Safe

To ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our Villages, all volunteers are required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and provide references. Don’t worry — we’ll cover the cost and guide you through the process.
