We are more than 121,000 professionals working in multidisciplinary teams with profiles as diverse as financiers, legal experts, data scientists, developers, engineers and designers.

About the job:

Help shape the employee experience and support BBVA’s growth in Asia.

As BBVA continues to grow in Singapore, we are strengthening our local Talent & Culture capabilities. We are looking for a proactive and collaborative HR Generalist to support our employees and managers, oversee local HR activities and work closely with colleagues across Asia.

Your impact

  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Support employee relations and ensure HR practices, documentation and processes align with local requirements and BBVA policies.
  • Payroll, Benefits & HR Operations: Coordinate payroll, benefits and employee administration, ensuring accurate data and timely execution.
  • Talent & Employee Experience: Support performance management, talent reviews, learning, succession planning and employee engagement.
  • People Data & Risk Management: Maintain accurate Workday records, prepare HR reports, support audits and strengthen processes and controls.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience, ideally combining HR Generalist responsibilities with experience in business roles. We welcome candidates who bring a strong understanding of both people management and business needs.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, Psychology, Marketing or another relevant field. Equivalent combinations of education and practical experience will also be considered.
  • Knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and local HR practices.
  • Experience across HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with Workday or similar HR systems and people reporting.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, with integrity, discretion and a collaborative mindset.
  • An interest in technology and AI-enabled HR improvements.

Nice to have: Banking or multinational experience, exposure to HR audits and process improvement, knowledge of local banking regulatory expectations, and proficiency in Spanish.

Why join us?

Join a growing international business and a connected regional T&C team. Take on meaningful local responsibility while contributing to a better employee experience and stronger HR practices across Asia.

Ready to make a difference for our people and business in Singapore? We’d love to hear from you.
